At our first client meeting, we will discuss your needs for the outdoor areas, giving consideration to your lifestyle, the existing layout and features of the house, and the budget.
This is the time to establish what is essential to the project, and also to throw ideas around for optional extras. You can have confidence in the advice given by our design consultant, knowing you are dealing with an experienced, well esablished company.
Measurements are taken from the house and our team sets about putting all the great ideas onto paper. We draw on experience, imagination and countless industry books and magazines to create the right look for you.
The materials to be used on the project will be suggested and discussed. The options are endless, with a vast array of timber available in many different colours and textures. At this stage we also specify plants and recommended specialty features such as translucent roofing and lighting.
A visit to our office to view the design on computer is optional.
Once the concept is complete, architectural plans are drawn on computer, showing full detail of how the project will be constructed.
Clients receive a set of plans to keep.
We are experienced in submitting plans to councils, and make sure all measurements and specifications are included to their standards. By having our drawings right the first time, we can keep the time taken for council approval to a minimum.
We liaise with engineers to sign off of drawings as required, and this is all included in our price.
In short, we worry about this process so you don’t have to.
All the hard work pays off now, as you see your project coming to completion.
We aim to have all materials arrive in a timely fashion so the installation will cause minimal disruption and can be completed quickly.
We carefully source the best quality timber to really make a statement on each project. Our tradespeople pride themselves on top quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
