Concept design

Kerdels can transform your front and back yard to benefit you practically, while adding value to your home.

Giving you peace of mind, Kerdels is very well established with tradespeople that have a fine eye for detail. We look after the total project from the design stage through to completion.

In the early stages of designing a major building project, a concept design is a great way to see what your home will look like. We can produce a concept design for your back yard, front yard or full home extension.

If you wish, we can show you exactly what the view will look like out through your sliding doors onto the new alfresco area, as if you were sitting in your favourite armchair!

The cost for the concept design will be discussed at your initial design consultation. A budget price for the project will also be given at your initial site visit, by our design consultant.

Once we complete the first stage of the concept design, we will arrange an office visit to go over the plan and the plan view layout. This is the opportunity to make sure we are designing to your liking. Then any necessary changes are made and coloured perspective views are produced.

Once the concept design is complete, the drawings are yours to keep. You will receive a minimum of one A3 plan including plant and finishing suggestions, and one A3 page of coloured, three-dimensional drawings. Larger or more complex jobs often require more pages of drawings.

Please note, concept drawings are not adequate for construction as they do not contain exact measurements or structural requirements. Construction drawings are produced later in the process.
